The varieties of grape used to elaborate Cava Guilera are el Macabeu, el Xarel.lo and el Parellada.

 

El Macabeu it is white variety, strong and haughty. It produces a compact bunch, medium grain, round did thin peel. It produces a fine wine, with fruits taste and mid alcoholic contents. It requires a short pruning.
El Xarel.lo it is a white variety, equilibrated, haughty and rustic. Its bunch is a medium one, not too much compact. It has a round grain with thick peel. It has mid-hight alcoholic contents. It requires a long pruning
El Parellada is a white variety, fainted appearance it needs a short pruning. It has a big golden grain, thick peel. It produces a fruits taste and aromatic wine, mid-low alcoholic contents.
The ground. The ground is clayish-calcareous and mid fertility. the great sum of quick live mades pH's ground oscillate between 7'5 and 8'5.
