The typical house building of catalonia, built of the beginning of 20th century, is the essence of Caves Guilera

It is placed in the township of Subirats, 5 Km away from Sant Sadurní, the wine cellar's Capital. It is also located in the wine's region of the Penedés, in the middle of the Cava's country surrounded by land full of vine's plantation



Cava is an Original Denomination born in
the cava's region that controls all the production, origin, varieties, rearing and quality, through its regulator advice.		  
         

The elaboration's zone caves different townships but it is in El Penedés where the production and elaboration rises up to 90%.

The white Cava varieties authorised for the cava's elaboration are: Macabeu, Xarel.lo, Parellada, Subirat i Chardonnay.

The Black cava varieties authorised are: Gamatxa negra, Monastrell, Pinot Noir i Trepat.

 
Nowadays the area planted with wine cellars is 31260 Has.
